Landscaping & groundworks services across the South Lakes
We are a landscaping and groundworks outfit, not a gardening service. That means we are as comfortable digging footings and laying drainage as we are building a patio or planting a border — and on most jobs we end up doing both.
We run our own plant and our own operators, and we manage every job ourselves from first visit to sign-off. Where a job needs a specialist trade we will bring one in and tell you so — but the responsibility for the work stays with us.

Not sure which one you need?
Most jobs are a combination. A new patio on a sloping Lakeland garden usually means a retaining wall and a drainage run before a single flag goes down; a driveway often needs the levels taking out and a soakaway putting in. Ring us and describe it in plain English — working out the categories is our job, not yours.
How we work
No surprises, start to finish
We come and look
A proper site visit, not a guess over the phone. We check access for machinery, ground conditions and levels — the three things that decide what a job really costs.
Fixed written quote
Itemised, in writing, with materials specified. You will know what the sub-base is and how deep it goes before anyone turns a sod.
We build it
Our own plant and our own operators. Site kept tidy, neighbours considered, and you get told if anything under the ground changes the plan.
Signed off clean
Muck away, site swept, and we walk it with you. Aftercare advice for planting and surfaces, and we pick up the phone afterwards.
Where we work
We are based in Cartmel, and our core patch runs roughly forty minutes out from there — Grange-over-Sands and Ulverston on the doorstep, up through Newby Bridge to Windermere and Ambleside, across to Kendal and Milnthorpe. We travel further for larger groundworks contracts.
